*Note:
This can be painted on the laser-etched wood surface from Valhalla (the surface is $20, however he will give our chapter 25% off), or you can paint it on the (approx. 8 x15”) surface of your choice. The line drawings will be emailed to you separately, as a PDF file.

Prep Instructions:
Step 1:
Sand, seal and sand again.
Step 2:
Basecoat the Frame in Lamp Black; the Heart in Raspberry.
Prep the insert as follows.
Sky -
Winter Blue; Ground: Jade Green; House (and windows, door), Underside of Roof and the Quilt - Bleached Sand; Roof: Lamp Black; Windows and Sun:Yellow Ochre; Door: Medium wash of Raspberry.

Note: If you would like to brush mix colors with your basecoat (ie for sky: Winter Blue + Warm White, slip/slap) feel free to do so...it will make your background a bit more interesting. I opted not to do this on this project, as the background had to be prepped for over 100 students. (Thanks again Miss Phyllis!)
